8 Steps To Reset or Change Bellsouth Email Password
NOTE: Since Bellsouth has been merged with AT&T, a user needs to access his or her Bellsouth email account through AT&T webmail portal. So, in order to reset password for your account, you will need to follow the steps as mentioned herein below:
1.) On your web browser, go to the AT&T sign-in page via link http://start.att.net/. Wait until the page gets loaded in your browser.
2.) Once the AT&T sign-in page gets loaded, click on the Sign In button. You will be directed to the AT&T sign-in page.
3.) On this page, click on the “Forgot Password link?”. You will be taken to “Account Recovery” page where you will need to provide some information about your account to verify your identity.
4.) Now, on the Account Recovery page, you will be prompted to provide your User ID under the Password section and also your Last name in the Last namefield.
NOTE: If you don’t remember your User ID, you will need to select User ID section. And if you have forgotten both, select User ID and Password option.
5.) Next, enter the Captcha details in the prompted box and click on the Continue button.
6.) On the next page, you will see two options:
Send me a temporary password.
I’ll answer my security questions.
7.) If you remember the answer to the security question selected by you during the sign-up process, select the option “I’ll answer my security questions” and follow the on-screen instructions.
8.) However, if you don’t remember the answer for the security question, select first option “Send me the temporary password” and then follow the on-screen prompts to reset the password and regain access to your account.
