Sbcglobal.Net Email Settings - ATT & Sbcglobal.net POP3, IMAP, SMTP Settings 2020
To access your Sbcglobal.net email-account from a desktop email program, you'll need the IMAP and SMTP settings below:
Follow the steps listed below to setup your email-account.
Touch Apps > Settings > Under Accounts touch +Add account
Touch Email
Enter the username and password.
If you are unsuccessful with setting up your accounts automatically, enter your e-mail address and password and touch Manual-setup, and use the manual-settings below:

Make sure that you also have in the Outgoing server tab, that "My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication." is checked, and that "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server is tick.

Follow steps to update your Sbcglobal email server settings:
Open Outlook Express.
Select File.
Select Account Settings.
Select the email account to update.
In Internet Email Settings verify that:
You have POP3 or IMAP selected.
Your User Name and Password are correct.
Enter the following:
For POP3 accounts, enter inbound.att.net for the Incoming mail server and outbound.att.net for the Outgoing mail server.
For IMAP accounts, enter imap.mail.att.net for the Incoming mail server, and smtp.mail.att.net for the Outgoing mail server.
Select More Settings.
Select the Outgoing Server tab.
Verify the following:
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked.
Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.
Select the Advanced tab.
Enter the following:
For POP3 accounts, the Incoming server (POP3) is port 995, the checkbox for This server requires a secure connection (SSL) is selected, and the Outgoing server(SMTP) is port 465.
For IMAP accounts, the Incoming server (IMAP) is port 993, the checkbox for This server requires a secure connection (SSL) is selected, and the Outgoing server(SMTP) is port 465 or 587.
Select OK.
On the Internet E-mail Settings wind'ow, select Next.
Select Finish.

ATT Email Updater - Att.net Email Settings
selects Launch the AT&T E-mail Updater, to begin the automated process.
Once they run the tool, the POP and SMTP server settings update with the correct server settings listed below.

On your Android device, you need to install the Gmail application. This opens your Gmail account associated with your Android mobile device.
You need to click on the Menu bar symbol placed in the Gmail app on the upper left corner of the screen of your Gmail account.
At present, you need to click on the Down Arrow symbol under the Menu bar found just next to your Gmail ID.

Steps to Setup SBCGlobal Email Account on Outlook Using Incoming IMAP
Open the Outlook email program and select the File option located on the upper-left corner of the window. Under File, select Account Settings in the Info
On the next screen, enter your details on the Auto Account Set-up screen and click Next.
Next, Outlook will configure your SbcGlobal email account automatically as an IMAP account with appropriate settings.
After that, click on the Finish button and then on the Close
NOTE: In case you are unable to configure your SBCGlobal.Net email account through an automatic configuration process, you can set your account manually by following these instructions:
