This was the first series of the seminars. It took place between March and May 2021 and five speakers were invited. Topics covered included historical sociolinguistics, indexicality, conceptual metaphor theory, teaching of a English as a L2 and forensic linguistics.

This was the second series of the seminars. It took place between November 2021 and March 2022 and seven speakers were invited. Topics covered included historical sociolinguistics, sociophonetics, corpus linguistics, multimodality, experimental methods in critical discourse studies, corpus stylistics, Corpus Learner Research and Digital Humanities.
