Coming from all walks of life, conscripts serve as 'Junior Cadets,' these grunts are fresh out of basic and are still learning the ropes. They've just come out of the USRF's vigorous training & vetting process, so they may be the most familiar with the skills required to fight in a conflict, but have little to no experience. 

The Frontiersmen Program has resettled countless poor NEU citizens across the fringe of the union and to the wastelands surrounding it. These frontiersmen live similar to wastelanders, but they are loyal to their homeland and have increased protections from the USRF.

Contractors are civilian workers who work in USRF military bases. After being thoroughly vetted by government officials, contractors can work a multitude of jobs largely centred around construction and logistics.
