Squad Leaders are responsible for leading usually a hunt or a section of troops, and have some more experience under their belt than Leading Riflemen. Squad Leaders have proven to remain calm and keep control of their own, even under high-intensity situations.

TIER 4 | Field Leadership Role
Field officers are responsible for keeping command over lower enlisted members of the USRF. Having a greater amount of leadership qualities compared to other forms of leadership underneath them- such as the leading rifleman, field officers are required to maintain a level of order between the lower ranks and keep morale high.

TIER 4 | Field Leadership Role
Medical officers are highly skilled medical professionals interwoven into the USRF command structure who also have a military background and leadership qualities. These officers oversee the Black Mountain Medical Bay, along with the managing patients and staff to make sure everyone is treated accordingly. In the field they coordinate medical efforts during and after contact.

TIER 4 | Field Leadership Role
Naval officers are specialized in naval warfare, naval logistics and the garrison's ships welfare. Other than planning and executing off-shore combat support and naval infiltrations, their main goal in the Lake Eerie region is convoy escort due to the looming piracy threat, so it's often to see Naval Officers coordinating their escort duties with the base's logisticians and commanders.

TIER 4 | Field Leadership Role
Engineer Officers are responsible for the USRF's combat engineers, coordinating mechanical efforts both within the Black Mountain Complex and in the field. They have a symbiotic relationship with other field officers in regard to the full picture of the USRF's goal, having an expertise on the engineering area which some other officers might be uneducated in, thus making their presence critical for future operations.

TIER 4 | Field Leadership Role
Technical Officers are responsible for the maintenance of vehicles and overseeing operations with regards to the USRF's motorized capabilities. Their expertise with mobile and motorized warfare, using vehicles to gain a tactical advantage in the field while knowing their pros and cons, taking in both and offensive and support role, which may be critical in scenarios that require a highly mobile assault or a quick and reactive defense.

TIER 5 | Field Leadership Role
Military advisors are high ranking officers within the USRF who contain extensive military knowledge and backgrounds. Usually former field officers with a lot battle knowledge on their belt, these advisors are instrumental to help train allied USRF forces in the region. Working closely with other factions, military advisors help instruct rigorous training and teach combat tactics in order to brush their allies up to USRF level of battle readiness.

TIER 6 | Field Leadership Role
Commanders are at the top of the USRF's rank hierarchy, they are responsible for the command and control role by planning, coordinating, supervising, organizing and planning or orders execution's. They can be organized to lead different sections of a garrison, take on administrative roles or oversee the logistics, in short they are the brain of the local USRF group, relaying most of their orders and wills through officers, which will disseminate the information to the lower ranks.
