M2116 VEST
An upgrade to the M2086 Flak Vest, the M2116 vest comes with two front plate inserts and one back plate insert to better protect against shrapnel, impact shock, and pistol & revolver rounds. While not the most powerful in terms of bodily protection, the M2116 vest is relatively lightweight and more comfortable to wear than other conventional armors while still providing a small amount of defense to the torso. These are often seen in use alongside M2086 vests in the hands of more underfunded units or newer recruits that have made it long enough to gain one of their own.

INDIVIDUAL BODY ARMOR KIT TORSO
First introduced alongside the SR-51 in 2151, the Individual Body Armor Kit was developed as part of a standardization effort made within the Northeast Union armed forces with tensions rising with the Southern Union. The design was rushed, leading to many issues with the armor. The Individual Body Armor Kit is rated to stop up to and including 1-2 6.8x45mm US rounds, and is known to provide ample protection against laser impacts, indirect grenade shrapnel, and ballistic impacts. Despite the protection it is considered too bulky and tends to slow down the user, making it quite unpopular with servicemembers. There is additionally many noted cases of spalling where the armor shatters, which can prove fatal for the user.

MODULAR BODY ARMOR SYSTEM HELMET DESCRIPTION
Next generation armor system that replaced IBAK sometime around 2157. MBAS was introduced alongside the Shredder service rifle, and sought to straighten out the kinks of the IBAK and then some. The helmet design is much less bulkier than IBAK and makes the user lightweight, allowing for higher maneuverability. Provides the ability for mounted attachments, though sees far less of a difference between it and it's less expensive IBAK counterpart when compared to the body mounted sections. Standard-issue among frontline units and sees limited service with the Lakeside Division. Known to provide ample protection against laser impacts, indirect grenade shrapnel, and ballistic impacts. The Modular Body Armor System is rated to stop up to and including 1-3 6.8x45mm US rounds without fail. The composite material the armor is made from helps stop most cases of spalling fragmentation, thereby reducing the risk of injury.

MODULAR BODY ARMOR SYSTEM TORSO DESCRIPTION
Next generation armor system that replaced IBAK sometime around 2157. MBAS was introduced alongside the Shredder service rifle, and sought to straighten out the kinks of the IBAK and then some. Introducing a whole new layer of modularity through a complete rework of the body armor from the ground up. The torso sections provide protection along primarily the chest, stomach, and back. Each piece is interchangeable and removable by pulling along the hard magnetic strips. Drastically lighter when compared to the IBAK chest plate. The Modular Body Armor System is rated to stop up to and including 1-3 6.8x45mm US rounds without fail, and is known to provide ample protection against laser impacts, indirect grenade shrapnel, and ballistic impacts. ENVIROPRO CBRN SUIT
The ENVIPRO (Environmental Protection) is a modern full-body CBRN suit designed specifically for use in extreme wasteland climates where combat is expected, thus deviating substantially from traditional HAZMAT kits.
ENVIPRO uses a closed cycle respiratory system and features internal temperature regulation, allowing for use in hot/cold climates without issue. The suit is made of a durable weave composite and the chest region is capable of stopping pistol caliber gunshots. The suit itself is difficult to cut and stab through, making it ideal for use against Eldritch. The hood also offers significantly better visibility than most gas masks in USRF stockpile while also retaining good durability.
Developed due to recent setbacks faced in Eldritch-infested wasteland frontiers dominated by radioactive storms as well as incredibly harsh weather, the suit experimental and is still being combat-tested, small issues have been reported here and there by troops and the Lakeside division was given a quantity to test due to the uniquely harsh climate of the isles.
Surplus is limited only by their slow production and high expense. ENVIPRO suits are most commonly seen in use by CBRN specialists lucky enough to get their hands on them, but have been occasionally seen in use by Black Mountain Ecologists and other Eldritch researchers and specialists.

PERSONAL DATA ASSISTANT
Often wrist-bound, PDAs are multi-functional electronic tools that are able to provide a soldier invaluable information that they have access to at a moments notice such as maps, instructional pamphlets and manuals, electronic communication between soldiers, and important notations regarding missions. While PDA systems are said to be "tamper-proof" and heavily monitored, some more technologically literate soldiers have been known to "jail-break" their devices in order to play games and watch media from back in the Union otherwise inaccessible to them such as NEU+.
PDAs can be linked to HUDs or TARs, this connection increasing the effectiveness of both devices as they are made to be used in tandem. The display of the PDA can be instead interfaced through the augmented reality display of the HUD or TAR.
