BOOTH LOGISTICS

BOOTH WALLS & DAMAGE

Booth walls are 12 feet high, 2 inches thick, and come pre-painted white. Both nails and screws may be used; we recommend using 1.5” long dry wall screws. Walls are hollow timber framed panels with a ¼ inch sheet of MDF on the front and back. There is a third sheet running through the middle. Walls are rated for 80 pounds per panel. Wall seam areas have solid wood backing and can be screwed into. If you plan on hanging anything heavier than 80 pounds, please email erin@space-productions.com.

Should you wish to nail, screw or drill into the hard wall for installation, all tools, materials and supplies are the responsibility of the exhibitor.
Additional hard wall panels may be purchased for your booth. If you would like to purchase additional walls, please send your proposed layout to erin@space-productions.com.

WALL DAMAGE

A certain amount of wear and tear is expected through regular use of the wall system.
The following items are not permitted and will result in a damage charge:

Holes larger than ½ inch ($500 per panel)
Holes that go all the way through the wall ($500 per panel)
Excessive holes; more than 20 per panel ($500 per panel)
Anchors or toggle bolts ($500 per panel)
Custom paint applied by the exhibitor (non-textured) ($25 per linear foot)
Use of Sharpie, pen, pencil or textured paint on the walls ($500 per panel)

The following items are permitted, however the exhibitor must cleanly remove the items entirely or a damage fee will incur:

Screws and hardware left in the walls ($10 per item)
Price stickers left on the walls ($10 per sticker)
Vinyl letting left on walls ($20 per linear foot)
Wallpaper or wallpaper residue left on the walls ($500 per panel)

DIY & OUTSIDE MATERIALS

Exhibitors are responsible for the installation of their artworks.

Exhibitors may bring in their own flooring or carpet and install within their booth footprint with written approval from erin@space-productions.com.

Outside lighting may not be used. Only lighting purchased through the fair may be used.

Exhibitors may not paint booth walls or the tent floor themselves. Custom painting must be completed by the painting department.

Please refer to the section above regarding damage beyond normal wear and tear to the booth walls and flooring.

FLOORING

The flooring at Untitled Art, Miami Beach is plywood flooring painted grey. There are potential fees for any damage to the floor. Exhibitors may not paint the floor themselves however you may enquire with erin@space-productions.com for costs associated with having the floor painted a different color by the painting department.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

There are no tools or hardware onsite. Exhibitors are responsible for opening their own crates, unpacking their artwork and installing artwork in their booth themselves. Please be prepared with all tools (such as drills and ladders), as nothing will be available to borrow or rent onsite.

LIGHTING

Untitled Art, Miami Beach unlike all other Miami tent fairs, has a translucent ceiling, which allows for the influx of a large amount of diffused natural light. At dusk and into the evening the booths are lit only by overhead tent lights (see photo below).

It is important to note that booths do not come with any truss lighting. If interested in supplementing the overhead tent lights, the fair offers traditional booth lights for purchase. Exhibitors may purchase track lighting for their booth using the order form included in the Exhibitor Portal. The purchase of track lights will include one line of truss. Exhibitors may purchase LED flood lamps (comparable to 90-watt halogen floods), LED spot lamps, or gooseneck lights. Exhibitors are not permitted to bring their own lighting.

SAMPLE OVERHEAD LIGHTING

Overhead lights are LED and are placed on crossbeams, 8 per bay.

SAMPLE TRUSS & TRACK LIGHTING

Triangular aluminum truss with white lighting track. LED flood and spot lights are available (comparable to 90 watt halogen floods). Booths do NOT come with truss and track lighting. You may purchase track lighting through the online extras store, located in the Exhibitor Portal.

SAMPLE GOOSENECK LIGHTING

White, three foot long arms that attach to the top of the booth walls. An adjustable LED flood lamp is located at the end of the arm. Gooseneck lamps do not come with the booth. You may purchase gooseneck lamps through the online extras store, located in the Exhibitor Portal.
