Publications Features & Entertainment

Entertainment and feature segments were staple sections of the newspaper throughout the publication's history. Many of these areas of the paper provided a place for student expression and opinions. 

During the late 1970s, the bent tree included a cartoon logo that consisted of the tree and a character that evolved from a man in a top hat and shades to a student studying under the tree.
