Bacteriophages are viruses that specifically infect bacteria and represent a promising approach for the targeted control of bacterial pathogens. Our research focuses on the isolation, characterization, and evaluation of bacteriophages active against clinically or biologically relevant bacterial strains.
We study phage–host interactions, host specificity, antimicrobial activity, and genomic characteristics to assess the potential of bacteriophages as precise biological tools for pathogen control.
