Local Charities

Sanctuary in Chichester provides social support, and works with a wide network of charities. They can provide referrals to several other charities, including Little Bundles (see below), Rotary Clothes Bank, and Chichester Food Bank.

Petworth Ukraine Relief runs a clothing bank at Lords Wood Barn GU28 9DS (at SatNav tends to be unreliable for this address, it is worth using the What3Words: Plot.Coasting.Grinders). Contact Eddie Boyes (07799 653140) beforehand to make sure someone is there.

My Sisters' House runs a women's clothing bank in Bognor Regis.

UK Harvest Pop Ups are a good place for cheap fresh groceries. Multiple locations in West Sussex. Click here for the schedule for the pop-up pantry.

There are also Food Banks in many local areas. Please contact them to ask how your guests might be referred. This is typically quite a straightforward process.

National Trust is offering six months free pass for your Ukrainian guests if you—the hosts are members. The number to call is 0344800 1895. You will need to provide your membership number, and the names of all the Ukrainian adults (their membership will cover all children under 18). It may take 10 days to get the cards, which they may use without you.

Boden has offered clothes for Ukrainian children under 12.

Petplan has offered pet insurance for Ukrainian refugees. Call 0330 057 3662 for more info.

If you in the Bosham area, Barreg offers refurbished bicycles to refugees for very low cost: this is for those who live in Bosham only.

Also in Chichester, SIA Computers and CEX also offer refurbished computers at good prices.

Facebook Marketplace is a surprisingly good place to pick up useful things for very little money.
