Project Description
In this project, we had to select something we believed to be an emerging technology and present research we conducted on it. I chose space exploration and while it may seem like its not necessarily and emerging one, I believe that it will continue to emerge and all the new advancements will make it feel new again. I covered why its important, how it affects everyday life, possible advantages and disadvantages, potential risks or threats, latest news, updates, or advancements.

Many people argue that space exploration is a waste of our time and resources, however, many of the things we enjoy today can be attributed and argue for the importance role space exploration has had in advancing humanity. I love space and learning more about this giant rock we live on, and I think its a beautiful thing that the human mind has allowed us to reach so far into the stars. One interesting fact I learned while researching is that NASA’s study of dark energy allows us to know that the universe could end in a "Big Freeze," "Big Rip," or "Big Crunch.” (NASA, 2004)

Lessons Learned
Through this project, the most important thing I learned is how much technological advancements impact our everyday lives. Our simple ability to open an app and see if it will snow over the weekend can be credited to us exploring space. I utilized the powerpoint skills I learned earlier in this course in order to make some transitions and add a nice design to my slide.
