What does Commencement/graduation mean to you?

Commencement is the beginning chapter of a new version of me. I can’t wait to be part of new experiences that can lead to me being a better person and more knowledgeable individual. 

Did you have to overcome any difficult challenges during your education to make it to graduation? If so, what were they?

Having to complete four years of education without my parents being in the country and living on my own was more difficult than school. NLU felt like home, and the staff was my family. Thanks to NLU, I've never felt alone on campus. 

What has your experience at NLU been like?

My time at NLU has been a blossoming experience. I felt like a seed receiving water from all NLU members. They gave me the tools to help me grow. 

What are your plans for the future?

My plan for the future is to use my talent and knowledge to help as many people in need.
