What does Commencement/graduation mean to you?

Graduation means that I am breaking the ceiling in being the first in my family to have a college degree. 

Did you have to overcome any difficult challenges during your education to make it to graduation? If so, what were they?

I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I was at a different school and realized it wasn't for me, and I was lost for a while. 

What has your experience at NLU been like?

NLU has been amazing. I have gotten so much support and resources to make this possible. If I could turn back time, I would have attended NLU from the start. 

What are your plans for the future?

My plans are to get my MSW.
