The Group

We  are a hard-working, driven group of graduate students, undergraduates, and post-docs.

Graduate Students

Farshad Kamalinejad

Physics---5th year

Farshad received his BA and MA from KN Toosi University in Tehran and currently works on massive neutrino impacts on the 2- and 3-point statistics of galaxies.

Jess Chellino

Astronomy---4th year

Jess received her BA from Rochester Institute of Technology and currently works on improving the covariance matrix used for analyses of the galaxy 4-Point Correlation Function. Her work also includes proving novel spherical Bessel function integrals to support these studies.

Matthew Reinhardt

Physics---4th year

Matthew received his BA from the University of Central Florida and is working on a project to explore axions during inflation producing parity violation.

William Ortola-Leonard

Physics---3rd year

William received his BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is working on a perturbation theory model for the even-parity, "connected" (induced by gravitational structure formation) 4-Point Correlation Function. He is supported by a Templeton Foundation Theory-Experiment Cross Training (TEX) Fellowship and also received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.

Ehsan Mahdavi

Astronomy---1st year
