Install Rocks 7

Rocks 7 requires disk capacity of 32 GB and memory capacity of 2GB on both the frontend and the compute nodes.

1. Go to www.rocksclusters.org/downloads.html and download the kernel roll.
2. To create a bootable USB of the Kernel roll follow the directions from CentOS. The other rolls (base, core, CentOS, Updates-CentOS, area51, fingerprint, ganglia, kmv, hpc, htcondor, perl, python, sge, and zfs-linux) will be installed via a network accessable from the frontend.
3. Follow the directions in the Base Users Guide to install and configure the frontend.
4. Install the compute nodes.
5. Add queues.
6. Set up fair share use.
