K TEAM 2026

COACH: MEL INGRAM & HANNAH WILLS

PLAYERS PLAYER: EMMA BORRIE

This player is the ultimate team person – dedicated, supportive and always bringing the energy. She’s worked hard to bring the team together both on and off the court, whether it’s organising social events, giving a pre-game pep talk or simply bringing the hype. Even when battling injury, she pushed through without complaint and continued to encourage everyone around her. Always bubbly, positive and happy, she is a natural leader and a teammate everyone loves having by their side.  Congrats to Emma this year's Players Player.

MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER: LUCIA SHANKS

A rock-solid presence in our defensive end, she can always be relied on to deliver. She reads the play brilliantly, creates turnovers and makes her opponent work incredibly hard for every ball. A quiet achiever who simply gets on with the job, she works tirelessly, contests everything and consistently does the little things that make a big difference. Throughout the season she has bought the same high standard, making her an incredibly valuable member of the team.  The Most Consistent Player Award goes to Lucia.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: LARA PIETERS

A consistently strong performer who makes an impact every time she takes the court. She applies relentless pressure on the ball, hunts for intercepts and never makes life easy for her opposition. Strong, dependable and always giving 100%. A genuine all-rounder who delivers week after week and is a hugely deserving Player of the Year.  Well done and congratulations to Lara.
