C TEAM 2026

COACHES: HOLLY COSTLEY

MANAGER: NATALIE MIERNICKI

PLAYERS PLAYER: GRACE CUMMING
This player is supportive, encouraging and has made her teammates feel welcome, included, and comfortable. She puts the team first, is the master of organising, is committed (when she is in town, had a wee trip to Europe this season), always positive and gives 100% every time when on court or at training. Congratulations Players Player for 2026, Grace Cumming.

MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER: AJA TOPLESS

As a first-year uni student, this player stepped up to the challenge of senior netball and impressed with her commitment, reliability, and willingness to learn throughout the season. She never missed a game, consistently giving 100% effort each week and bringing a positive attitude. She was always receptive to feedback and provided stability and consistency in the midcourt. Her dedication and consistent effort from the first whistle of the season to the last make her a very deserving recipient of the Most Consistent Player award, congratulations Aja Topless

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: SALA SKINNER

This award was a difficult one to decide, as every player contributed strongly throughout the season and played their role in a team that was unlucky not to make the final. Our defensive end was a particular strength, consistently creating crucial turnovers when we needed them most.

Week after week, this player stood out with her ability to read the play, secure intercepts, deflections, and rebounds, and work seamlessly with her defensive teammates while at GK. She was consistent from the first game to the last, worked tirelessly for every minute on court, and showed outstanding commitment to the team, missing just one game all season (she moved work shifts around and may even have called in sick to be there). Whether at training or on game day, she brought a positive attitude and as one teammate said, ‘was there to hype others up’. Congratulations to our Most Valuable Player, Sala Skinner.
