She has really stepped up this year, showing incredible commitment and giving 100% at every training and game. She has been a consistently strong player, always willing to ask for feedback and improve, while finding her voice and becoming a fantastic leader in the midcourt. She has also been incredibly welcoming and supportive to new members of the club, making her a wonderful all-round teammate and a real asset to the team. She has been a pleasure to coach for the last two seasons. Congratulations, Sera!

MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER: LIZZIE MCKENDRY

This year’s Most Consistent player has been an outstanding leader and a true asset to the team. Chosen as captain, she embraced the role and led by example, taking on a strong leadership role in the defensive circle. Playing every game at GD, she was always reliable and, when the team needed a crucial intercept, rebound or turnover, she had a knack for pulling one out of the bag! She has been an absolute pleasure to coach, and her consistency, commitment and leadership make her more than deserving of this award. Congratulations Lizzie!

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: EVIE TOWNLEY

This year’s Player of the Year has been an incredible addition to our club. Having only previously played GS, she took on the challenge of learning GA and quickly made the position her own. Her commitment has been outstanding, attending every training and game and always giving 100%, never dropping her head when results didn’t go our way. She has become an integral part of the team, both on and off the court, and her dedication, adaptability and positive attitude make her a very deserving Player of the Year. Congratulations, Evie!
