The produce harvested at the UCCS Farm varies and changes by the season. Produce that can be found at the farm range from onions to carrots to many different kinds of fruit. A lot of this produce is harvested, taken over to the Main House, and placed in the farm's "pantry". Any UCCS students who are checking out the farm are free to help themselves to any produce from the pantry completely free of charge.
The Colorado climate is home to many herbs that have medicinal qualities, used by indigenous populations to treat a variety of things. Some of these have anti-inflammatory properties, while others have been said to ward off the common cold. The Farm has a variety of these herbs, some located inside the greenhouse and some in the garden beds.Â
