A session was arranged on April 4, 2019 as per the suggestions of the villagers regarding Rain Water Harvesting Project Implementation. This interaction revealed that the migrants too had made an attempt to recharge the bore well but unfortunately couldn’t succeed. They shared their expectations and views on the proposed project and assured of their co-operation. Following this meet, on May 19, 2019 the actual recharging of bore well was done by using conventional digging method with the help of villagers of Riktoli and Indapurwadi.

On March 14, 2019, National Assessment and Accreditation Council visited the college for institute supervision. Evaluation of all the departments was conducted by the NAAC Peer Team on the following day. All the professional student bodies were also given a chance to interact with the authorities. Considering UBA team’s enthusiasm and dedication, towards various events and activities, willingness to implement various future plans, the team got an opportunity to present the purpose of UBA and its activity campaigns before them.

A team of 42 students visited Reliance Jio Training Centre (JC27), Thane on March 09, 2019 along with Faculty co-ordinator, Prof. Yogita Ganage. The objectives of the visit were to maximize generation of opportunities for students and to develop interest amongst emerging engineers.

The primary visit culminated with getting an overview of the villages and making arrangements for the final household survey. This visit resulted in building a sturdy relationship with the village authorities for easy accessibility to the villagers.
The final survey in the form of door-to-door household information-gathering was scheduled to commence on February 07, 2019 in the cluster of Ratnagiri district. The objective of the survey was to observe every aspect of each village and collect relevant information through household survey.

January 23, 2019, marked the formation of UBA Cell, RGIT, wherein an orientation programme was organized to formally introduce the Institute level body structure of UBA Cell. Team UBA was formed on this day, embarking the beginning of a new journey of taking up a techno-social initiative.
