Computers for the Blind

This great program offers refurbished laptops and desktops to any blind and low vision individual in the United States. You can receive one device per year. Can be a great option for students' home use!

• Cost: Laptops $200, Desktops $145

• If the TVI writes a letter on how the student would benefit from the computer and attaches it to the application, a $60 discount will be applied to the already discounted price!

• All devices come with a one-year license to JAWS or Zoom text

• Comes with Windows 10

• Comes with Microsoft Student Edition

• Comes with Windows Defender

Process to get the equipment

1. Fill out an application on the website Computers for the Blind

2. Send the letter from the TVI to get the $60 discount

3. Once your application is approved, you will be contacted to purchase with a credit card. You can also send a purchase order

4. Ships free directly to the student

5. Device comes with a one-year replacement policy

Seedlings Angel Program Change

We have made changes to our Book Angel and TVIP Programs! 

For our Book Angel Program, you can now receive 5 FREE braille books per calendar year! We also have a new way to order – use our regular ordering system and select 6 books and add them to your cart. Then:

1. Click “Checkout” and locate the "Book Angel" box below your “Ship To” information & fill in the fields.

2. Enter the code 'BAP' as your Purchase Order Number to circumvent the payment process. (Book prices may still show but you will not be taken to PayPal to pay, and you will not be charged for your books.)

For our TVIP Program, Teachers can now receive 5 FREE braille books per calendar year! Use our regular ordering system and select 5 books, put them in your cart, hit checkout and use the code “TVIP” as your Purchase Order Number. (As noted before, you will not be directed to PayPal to pay, and you will not be charged for your books.)
