CTA 2020-21 grantees' submission deadline will be September 30, 2021.

Please note: Since CTA applications were submitted in the 1.0 file-based format, initial preparation will be required to input certain items from the application's Section 7 file into the progress report. Instructions will be included in the tutorial clips.
Future applications submitted in the new 2.0 form-based format will not require this input step; TUPE GEMS will link from Applications to automatically populate designated fields in Progress Report.

Needing to submit your expenditure report? Visit the support document to find tutorial clips on how to complete the expenditure report for your CTA grant on TUPE GEMS.
Please note: There is not a Budget Revision module for CTA grants as it does not apply. In special cases, some grantees may receive a special notification initiated by the CDE office for a budget adjustment. Instructions on how to complete this via the Annual Budget Proposal are also included in the tutorial series.

The Tobacco-Use Prevention Education County Technical Assistance Funds provide funding to county offices of education to provide leadership, administrative oversight, training, and technical assistance (TA) to all local educational agencies (LEAs) in the county. A portion of TA funds are to be directed to identifying and reducing tobacco-related disparities among priority youth populations.
