Facility Features, Working Principle, and Specifications:
High-performance oven with fast heat-up and cool-down for shorter injection-to-injection times, ideal for high-throughput labs.
Twin-wall oven design with concentric air exhaust for near-ambient cooling without liquid cryogen, suitable for volatile organic compound (VOC) analysis.
Wide-range Flame Ionization Detector (FID) and compatibility with Mass Spectrometer (MS), Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), and Electron Capture Detector (ECD).
TurboMatrix headspace and thermal desorption systems for enhanced precision in VOC analysis.
TotalChrom software for data acquisition, processing, and regulatory compliance.
Gas chromatography separates volatile and semi-volatile compounds by vaporizing the sample and passing it through a column with a stationary phase. The Clarus 850 uses a temperature-programmable oven and various detectors to identify and quantify VOCs based on retention time and detector response.
Temperature range: 10°C above ambient to 450°C.
Oven supports 3 ramps and 4 plateaus, with run times from 0 to 999 minutes (0.1-minute increments).
Dual-channel configuration for simultaneous detector use.
Fast heat-up and cool-down rates for high throughput.
Environmental analysis (e.g., VOCs in air, water, soil).
Forensic and petrochemical analysis.
Analysis of residual solvents in pharmaceuticals.
