Uniforms will be worn in a Class-based structure from most professional to most comfortable/tactical.  Some uniforms will be accessible to certain ranks only.

Two tasers are NEVER permitted to be worn with any uniform within the department.

Probationary Officers are REQUIRED to wear Class A Patrol uniforms for the duration of their probationary period.

Officers under the rank of Sergeant may utilize any Class A or Class B uniform variant.

Officers at or exceeding the rank of Sergeant may also utilize BLACK Class C uniforms.

Authorized polo shirts may be worn by Officers at or exceeding the rank of Sergeant.

Senior Officers must utilize the BLUE Class C uniform.

For certain situations, such as working in an area with a high volume of traffic, evidence collection, or high-risk situations, additional equipment may be required.  Including, but not limited to vests, high-visibility vests, and gloves.

Uniforms shall NOT be changed or altered in any way unless using a different authorized uniform, which may only be used if the role has been granted to the Officer by the department's administration team.

PROPER RANK INSIGNIAS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

Male Officers MUST maintain a professional hair cut.  Dreadlocks, braids, cornrows, mohawks are NOT permitted unless the Officer is undercover and permitted by the department's administration team.

Female Officers MUST maintain a professional hairstyle, above the shoulders, unless permitted otherwise.  Light make-up is permitted. 

Facial jewelry and earrings are NOT permitted unless the Officer is operating undercover and is permitted by the department's administration team.

Tattoos are permitted IF THEY ARE NOT gang-related or obscene markings.  Tattoos may NOT exist on the Officer's head/face, neck, or hands.  Respectful chest, back, arm sleeves, and leg tattoos are permitted.

Probationary Officers are not permitted to utilize and form of outer carrier/vest.

Officers are permitted use of outer carrier however, it is encouraged but not required, you utilize no outer carrier.

Officers are not permitted use of a "cowboy" hat, unless approved by the Chief of Police

Officers in violation of these uniform regulations, or Officers found wearing the uniforms of higher-ranking positions, WILL BE subject to disciplinary actions at the discretion of the department's administration team.
