About me


I'm a Lecturer at the School of Fundamental Science and Engineering in Waseda University. I received a Ph.D from the Department of Pure and Applied Physics at Waseda University in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Shigeo Morishima. I obtained my B.E. and M.E. degree in 2012 and 2014 respectively. During 2017-2023, I was mainly working at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology in the University of Tokyo, where I was a member of User Interface Research Group and working with Prof. Takeo Igarashi as an assistant professor. Before that, I worked with Daichi Ito (Sr. Technical Artist / Concept Designer), Darshan Prasad (Research Engineer), Duygu Ceylan (Research Scientist), and Radomír Měch (Principal Scientist) at Adobe Research as an internship student for three months from July 2015, for three months from June 2016 and for three month from April 2017. In addition, I have joined an exploratory software project IPA MITOH Program as a programmer for ten months from June 2014, Waseda Research Institute for Science and Engineering as a Junior Researcher (Assistant Professor) in April 2017, and  a CG technical advisor at Japan Medical Company Inc (2022). My main research areas are Computer Graphics (CG) and Human Computer Interaction (HCI) such as cartoon animation. I received the best paper awards at ACE, CASA, CVMJ, IEEJ, IPSJ, ISID, NICOGRAPH International, and VL/HCC. ACM, IPSJ, IIEEJ member.
