2022 June 22nd: Dr Mohammad Heidarzadeh (the PI) has moved to the University of Bath from 01th July 2022. He accepted the position Associate Professorship within the department of Architecture & Civil Engineering. 2022 May 29th: Dr Matthew Hayward joined WP-3 as a new researcher. Matthew completed his PhD in July 2022 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

2022 May 25th: Dr Mohammad Heidarzadeh and Mr Ramtin Sabeti both attended at EGU-2022 assembly and presented their new papers. Read more.

2021 December 07th: A seminar was hosted by tWP-4 on Earthquake and Tsunami Resilience in East Indonesia. Members of WP-4 and WP-3 including Dr Widjo Kongko, Mr Eko Kustiyanto, Dr Mohammad Heidarzadeh and Mr Ramtin Sabeti presented in that seminar.

2021 October 27th: Team member, Dr Nugroho Hananto, attended the ACEAN-China conference. His presentation was on Indonesian Geology and hazard mitigation. Read more

2021 October 27th: Team member, Adi Patria, is preparing for his PhD pre-defence, planned for 28th October 2022.

2021 October 19th: Team member, Dr Widjo Kongko, attended the ''Acara Puncak Peringatan Bulan Pengurangan Risiko Bencana'' conference in Ambon. The conference was focused on national resilience against disasters. More than 500 participants from BNPBP, BPBD and NGO participated in this conference. Learn more

2021 September 26th: Team member, Dr Nugroho Hananto, is promoted to director for Research Vessel Management of the National Agency for Research and Innovation (BRIN).

2021 August 26th: Team member, Doctoral researcher Ramtin Sabeti, is awarded the Vice-chancellor travel prize at the Brunel University London for his recent article. Read more

2021 August 1st: Team member, Prof Danny Hilman Natawidjaja, is awarded the Professorship position by the government of Indonesia.
