Dorothy House Tournament
The Dorothy House Tournament is an Open Mixed Pairs event, held on the Summer Bank Holiday Monday.
Proceeds of the day go to The Dorothy House Charity.
Dorothy House 2021
After the cancellation of the event last year, Bank Holiday Monday saw a scaled down Dorothy House Tournament.. Usually an Open event, the only non member this year was Sue Bohana, defending her title with Frank Maxwell.
After a good start for Sue and Frank, the final was contested by two married couples, 2018 Mixed Pairs winners Wendy and Mike Darwin, and Jane and Ian Thomas. The game started well for the Thomas' but was clawed back to be level after the final end, with the extra end being won by the Darwin's.
A very good day was had by all, with particular mention to Dorothy and her team for the catering, and over £430 was raised for Dorothy House.
