History of Troop 387

Charter Organization

The troop is currently charted by the Town of Somers Rotary Club.

Camping Locations

Troop 387 frequently travels to nearby scout reservations and camping locations in the surrounding counties. In addition the scouts have the opportunity to participate in high adventure trips to Philmont Scout Reservation, New Mexico and Northern Tier located in Minnesota. Furthermore, there is great enthusiasm for the 2023 National Jamboree held at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia. 

Troop Website

The troop website was published in August of 2022. The troop website will be the primary role as an informational resource for volunteers and scouts about upcoming troop events, documentation of past campouts and troop information.
