About Us

Troop 0380 was founded in 1984 for Boys 10-18 years old. In 2026 we became Family Troop 7380. We are recruiting girls to join for Fall 2026. We are a Scouting America BSA Troop in the the Riverside District of the Central Florida Council for boys. We are sponsored by Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic. While our sponsoring organization is a Presbyterian church, we have members of various faiths and welcome everyone, regardless of their religious affiliation.

We meet every Monday night. 6:30 leaders gather, 7:00 opening flag ceremony, 8:15 closing.

Campouts are planned monthly.

We are a Scout-led Troop. Our Troop activities will be driven by the JTE Scorecard. The Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) reports to the Scoutmaster, and the Scouts report to the SPL (Patrol Method). When a Scout asks an adult for help, adults should tell them to ask their SPL first. A new SPL will be elected the 1st of every September and March.

Get your uniform

Everyone who attends Troop events needs to fill out Health Medical Record Form A & B for the Troop to have at all activities. Form C needs to be signed by your doctor required for campouts longer than 72 hours.

Fundraisers

There will be several fundraisers to help boys pay their own way to Scouting activities. We will sell Popcorn in the fall and Camp Cards in the Spring. We host two pancake breakfasts at Eastminster per year. Sometimes we have a carwash.

Service Projects

There will be many opportunities to participate in service projects throughout the year. You can use the service hours in Scouts toward school service requirements.There is a place to document service hours in the back of the Handbook and online in the Scoutbook calendar. The first two Saturdays in November are Scouting for Food.
