In our Troop, we divide the roles of the Scouts into a wide variety of jobs to give everyone an equal chance in taking part in troop positions.
A troop should be primarily led by its youth members and guided by adult leaders.
In a Troop, the Scoutmaster holds the highest rank.
Then, the Senior Patrol Leader, who leads the meetings with his assistants to aide with the agendas of the meetings.
Furthermore, the other Boy Scouts will be placed in their own patrols and can chose to be either:

Must attend the majority of the meetings.
Assistant Patrol Leader (Aides the Patrol Leader)
Quartermaster (brings camping gear to troop campouts)
