Triptych cares deeply about not just literary culture but literary institutions. As a result of this, we do several things we want potential submitters and contributors to be aware of.
Firstly, we do print small, symbolic runs of anywhere between 10-30 books, depending on the release and the funds available. Copies are always freely distributed, never sold for profit. Triptych is a campus-born student-run publication with an interest in getting copies of books to people as easily as possible.
Secondly, Triptych is very passionate about literary institutions, libraries, and universities as places for the curious to gather and have access to works they might not otherwise get access to. As a result of this, we have a polite, informal, agreement with our home archive at UMass Boston to donate copies of our print releases.
We are looking to get more books into more hands outside our local campus stomping grounds, and as such intend to place excess copies of our limited print runs in other libraries, repositories, and collections. A list of institutions, libraries, and repositories which house copies of Triptych releases is below, but should not be considered complete:
