As we approach our one year anniversary as a journal, Triptych is opening submissions for a themed issue #3 (published both in free print and digital formats) in the same vein as its issue #1.
We are looking for stories about those who survived the end of their lives and the retreat from it. Stories where home was lost, taken, or misplaced. From worlds collapsing due to atomic war or ecological degradation, to minds broken by the weight of the forbidden. Or worse, stories about people whose bodies are no longer physically recognizable, and still had to wake up the next day.
We are looking for stories between 1,000 and 10,000 words long. Any AI generated writing, if found, will be promptly rejected and we strongly encourage submitters to familiarize themselves with prior issues of Triptych, and our Chapbook releases.
