In June 2024, I began a case study for the Fashion Scholarship Fund. My objective, as outlined by the project requirements, was to research a brand of my choice and devise a merchandising plan that leveraged technology for enhanced efficiency. I selected Anthropologie as my focus, analyzing its customer demographics to pinpoint a growth opportunity in assortment. Based on my research, I proposed a kids apparel category. To gather valuable data for informed merchandising decisions, I suggested implementing Augmented Reality (AR) technology, in the form of a virtual try-on feature, to provide a unique and interactive shopping experience. This innovative approach aimed to optimize inventory management and cater more effectively to the needs of Anthropologie's customers.
