Over the years, I have made it my mission to experience the multiple career paths that fashion business has to offer. On this page, I have compiled a list of past field experiences involving business-related fashion roles such as Fashion Marketing, Fashion Design, and Modeling. Each experience is in order of most recent start date to least. Review the "Fashion Business and Retail Experience" drop down to find further information on a few highlighted experiences!
During the summer of 2025, I was an Assistant Buying intern at Kohl's Corporate, in the Girls 0-8 office. This well structured program consisted of three projects and weekly cross-functional classes, while providing each intern with an engaging support team. Each intern project taught different skills that pertained to our specific roles and provided opportunities to present our ideas to divisional teams and managers. The first project was a competitive shopping presentation, the second was a best sellers analysis presentation, and the last project was a group case competition that challenged interns to pitch a new assortment line or category that would both retain existing customers and attract a new customer segment.

As a Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) x Kohl's Named Scholar and Virgil Abloh Post-Modern Scholar, I've had the privilege of participating in career and networking events with FSF's brand partners. This includes attending the FSF Immersive Networking Weekend and Gala in New York City last April. This weekend was filled with tours and panel speaker events from the brands KidSuper, Macys, WWD, SKIMS, Louis Vuitton, and Kohl's. Additionally, the Gala provided an opportunity to share my case study on Anthropologie and make meaningful connections with industry professionals.
In June 2024, I undertook a case study for the Fashion Scholarship Fund. The project required me to research a brand and develop a technology-driven merchandising plan. Choosing Anthropologie, I analyzed its customer base to identify a growth opportunity. Based on my findings, I proposed expanding into kids apparel. To inform merchandising decisions, I recommended using Augmented Reality (AR) to create a more engaging shopping experience. This innovative approach aimed to streamline inventory and better meet customer needs.
