Undergraduate student, University of Virginia

Malena is third year undergraduate student in Biology. She melding wet lab research with biostatistics. She eager for a more hands-on experience utilization of bioinformatics and statistics alongside cancer research. In the Trinh lab she participates in isolation and culture of primary cells as well as leukemia cells lines and involve in drug response studies. 

Accomplishments during training in Trinh lab

• 2025. Co-author poster presentation on small molecules targeting chemo-resistant cells at the annual UVA Undergraduate Research Symposium.
