The Trinh lab has been supported by UVA Pathology, UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center, American Cancer Society, National Cancer Institute, our collaborators, surplus donors, and volunteers. As an academic research lab, our missions are to make basic scientific discoveries, translate these research findings toward therapeutic applications, and train the next generation of life science researchers. Some of our exploratory studies are considered "high risk" and may not be eligible for funding from the National Institute of Health and foundations. If you find our research program interesting, there are several ways you can contribute. For instance, philanthropists, including small donors, can make monetary gifts to support our research program or one of our research themes, and sponsor academic activities for our trainees. To make a gift to the Trinh lab, please contact us (click here) or Chrissy Morgan Gibbons, Director of Development, Research Departments and Centers chrissy@virginia.edu). Our lab will coordinate with the UVA Health Foundation and donors to ensure the funding will be appropriately used and acknowledged. Besides, individuals with experimental or computational skills can volunteer their time and contribute to our research. We sincerely appreciate your support and involvement in advancing our scientific endeavors.
