Hoang Uyen Nguyen, BA student

Hoang is a third-year student in the College of Arts & Sciences at UVA, majoring in Chemistry on a pre-medical track. She joined the Trinh Lab to deepen her understanding of pathology and gain hands-on research experience at the intersection of chemistry and disease. In the lab, she contributes to ongoing pathology research while developing both experimental and analytical skills. Outside the lab, Hoang enjoys staying active and values a good workout. She is passionate about science, driven toward a career in medicine, and committed to pursuing both.
