Haniyya Sanad, 12th grader, Monticello High School

Haniyya joined our lab through The School of Medicine’s Summer Opportunities in Academic Research (SOAR), an eight-week summer program for local high school students from historically underrepresented groups in science and medicine. In our lab, Haniyya will have opportunities to get acquainted with data science and experimental research through her daily supervisors, Anna and Kevin as well as other lab members.
