Our team

Charles Zhang, M.D. Candidate, University of Virginia School of Medicine 

Charles is an incoming second-year medical student at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2022 with a B.A. in Chemistry, where he conducted research on electrocatalysis of carbon-carbon bond-forming reactions. As part of the MSSRP medical student research program, Charles will be studying drug modulation of transcription factors in acute myeloid leukemia. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, reading, videogames, and playing music.
