Anna is a third-year transfer student working toward a BS in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry at UVA. She received several honors including Presidential Scholar and Honors College from her former school, Christopher Newport University. Anna is interested in having lab experience. In the Trinh lab, Anna started with examining Protein-DNA binding using molecular biology and bioinformatic approaches within one of our ongoing research projects. Additionally, she is in process of developing her own research project. Beyond studies, Anna participates in volunteer works and enjoys sports. Her team were Varsity Women’s Soccer- 2021 NCAA DIII National Champions. Anna is on University's 2021 Women's Soccer Roster.
