PLAIN CLOTHING REGULATIONS
Hats and Vests:
Your vest must be marked and visible at all times. Your clothing must not cover the POLICE marking. The vest must be your divisional vest, and must be a black or blue marked hat. Please be aware that you cannot wear helmets with plain clothes unless you are a member of SCO-19 Command or you are a CTSFO Operational Senior Manager (OSM). You must not use helmets with any smart attire.
Gloves:
You may wear suitable gloves including surgical gloves but any gauntlets will not be allowed to be worn.
Colours and Patterns:
When wearing plain clothes, you must wear suitable colours. Anything bright is not authorised, however non-bright colours such as salmon pink, light blue, light red etc. are permitted. Most patterns are also not allowed, including camo and stripes.
Hoodies:
As an individual wearing hoodies, you are permitted only permitted to wear specific colours: black, white, dark blue, dark green, grey hoodies and tan/beige. You must ensure that your police marking on the front and back of your vest and hat is visible at all times.
Brands:
Brands may not be worn under any circumstances. This includes any form of fragging like outfits such as pink manor. If your vest covers the brand, it is permitted as long as the branding is not visible.
Legs:
Joggers and Jeans are fine to be worn as plain clothing however any form of shorts are not allowed. They must be plain, and must cover your entire body. Under no circumstances should any of your rear end be exposed.
Shoes:
Shoes must at all times remain professional with common sense being utilised. For example, air forces would be permitted however, bright-coloured shoes are not to be worn; white is allowed however.
Mask:
Masks may be worn as long as they remain professional. Mask 169/52 is recommended. The black mask with the skull on it may only be used by SCO OFC+ and TRIDENT Command.
How to get authorisation:
To get authorisation you must be selected either as an officer of the week of your division or given authorisation as a reward from an event or be given authorisation from TRIDENT Command and/or Gold Command. After you have been given the authorization and have selected your outfit, please send a screenshot of your outfit to the command member that has authorised the outfit so they can get authorization from TRIDENT Command that the outfit is suitable and ok to be worn. If you do not get clearance from TRIDENT Command or Gold Command, you will not be able to wear the outfit on patrol.
Please be aware that the plain clothing rules stated above cannot be overwritten. If you do not adhere to these rules, you can receive punishments and possibly a blacklist from wearing plain clothing in the future. TRIDENT Command and Gold Command also have the final say in what clothing you can and cannot wear, so according to this guide your clothing may adhere to the rules, but if a TRIDENT or Gold Command member tells you to change it, listen to them.
IF YOU DO NOT ABIDE BY THESE RULES, YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PLAIN CLOTHES REMOVED AND YOU MAY RECEIVE A PLAIN CLOTHES BLACKLIST
