Is MBTI a Fallacy or Problem?
So, I've come up with a train of thoughts about a very mild but strong opinion about a matter which has been plaguing typology and ruining a sort of communities since the very beginning it had been invented, leaving us a mundane of material, which is renowned as the Myers-Briggs Typology Index.
The matter here is that, MBTI also consists letters, not merely limited to functions. This is the most essential understanding of the Myer-Briggs Typology Index. So, if you still assert an argument such as "MBTI aren't letters, they are functions.", I'll just prefer you to refrain from these statements, as functions made of letters, not vice versa - they built from letters to be made into functions. The in-depth valuation of MBTI itself isn't worthy enough akin to the other systems.
For instance, we could see the growth of Socionics-- which was being invented in 1970s by Aushra as the lead founder-- from Eastern Europe until it has reached us. And not to forget about Enneagram that has a particular basis despite still causes a lot of misconceptions and falsifiable theories to be proved, including the subtyping system such as variants when it comes to typing.
Hence then, lately, MBTI has been "digress" or regressed by the other systems, such as 3D Psyche, Digibro Neurotyping, Mind Axes and Psikosofia which were rather intriguing compared to the eponymous typological system. More so, the mystical stuff such as Zodiac, Blood types, and Moral Alignment might as well be considered interesting to be a "typology" more than the MBTI, let alone a match by popularity - it didn't make. Most people who already understood MBTI would explore anything other than the aforementioned system, since I ought to say, feasibly, they have been tired about this circumventing stuff and wouldn't mind to leave as soon as possible as they thought it's no worth to type people within their knowledge and it doesn't worth anything but for the sake of being right when it comes to typing. The amend of correlation would make things to be "tricky" as well, as the same cyclone of mistypes premise, such as sensor/intuitive bias, looping, shadow functions were still there, some people neglect and leave with no regret when the others stay to be ready with complicated stuff incoming. People would just come and go to the remainder of this season.
Moreover, as for the One True Type. I'd just state that your type isn't absolute. People have to understand this. If you are, for example, an ENTP in one of the systems, would you be the one in another system? The short answer is "No", and it doesn't even matter.
You can't be the one true type when you are human. Human is the most diverse kind of being, or if anything, their races and all of the altruism will always be there, no matter what. So, you probably could prod of your ability to type someone but didn't even understand yourself. And in the end, it doesn't even matter. People would have viable options for the type, you could either be ENFP with ENTP as the second preference or EIE with LIE as the viable option, since you aren't being limited by one choice after all, which is pointed out that you can have more.
And if you don't doubt of what Jung said about the One True Type, let's just say this is what he actually gave to people who hold belief on his words.... However, it's not the end of this story.
As I would have to say that, if they don't know the mechanism of MBTI or Jungian Cognitive Function, just like philosophy, it would be worthless enough there is be no meaning to have typology as your own system. And as if you want to know how to get your type in advance, you need to know how to be yourself first before accurately typing others to get the One True Type.
Well, I guess it's time to open the Pandora box that is labelled as a typology, shall we?
