My assistive technology at Trinity Christian College took a trip to the the Illinois Assistive Technology Program. We were able learn how to make a switch out of basic house supplies. We interacted with the staff and learned more about assistive technology that the state offers and the variations within assistive technology.
This is a card I received from my professor after completing the Undergraduate Learning Apprenticeship at Trinity Christian College. ULA is a leadership class/activity at Trinity in which students develop their leadership skills by serving as an assistant in a class they have previously completed and done well in.
I was a ULA for Education 205 and some things I did during this program were lead small group/whole class discussions, grade/provide feedback on student work, and share my perspectives and experiences in the field.
