Nolan joined the Treehouse Team in Summer 2026.
Nolan has a Master's Degree in Education and Curriculum from Boston University. He also holds a Bachelor's in Psychology.
Nolan currently holds the following certifications from the Department of Early Education and Care:

Nolan (on the right) has been teaching science for the past 8 years in districts all over Western Mass. He taught grades 4-6 in Holyoke for a few years before moving to West Springfield and taking up 7th and 8th!
With his husband (on the left) Jaromy, he loves hiking through America's national parks, always excited to bring his three pups on their next family adventure.
Nolan is thrilled to be serving as a Lead Teacher at Treehouse for the school aged kids this summer!

Sandra S. joined the Treehouse Team in November 2025.
Sandra attened Dean College and receied an Associates Degree in Early Childhood. She has experience working in Early Education and Care programs, including earning Head Teacher certification in Connecticut. As an educator, Sandra loves watching children grow and learn.
Sandra currently holds the following certifications from the Department of Early Education and Care:

Teacher Infant/Toddler
School Age Site Coordinator
Sandra loves spending time with her daughter and her niece, as well as her daughters friends. Together they enjoy going on manyl outings.
Currently Sandra says "I love working for Treehouse. Its such a great school. Im a floater so I get to spend time with all of the children that attend the program."
Miss Nicole
Miss Nicole
Nicole joins the Treehouse Team in June 2026. Nicole attended Westfield State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Special Education at Bay Path University. Nicole has experience working with young children in both general and special education settings and is passionate about creating an environment where every child feels supported, valued, and successful.
Nicole currently holds the following certification from the Department of Early Education and Care:

Nicole is also CPR/First Aid Certified, expires February 2027.
As an educator, Nicole believes that every child learns and develops in their own unique way. She enjoys helping children work toward their individual goals, no matter how big or small, and finds it especially rewarding to watch them gain confidence, learn new skills, and grow over time.

Amia initially joined the Treehouse Team from April-June of 2025 as a Student Intern through the Springfield Public Schools (SPS) Early Childhood Education career path program. She was then hired as a team member in June of 2025 and worked at Treehouse in the Summer of 2025. She returned in November of 2025 as a paid COOP Student with SPS, and was officially hired as a Teacher in June 2026.
Amia currently holds the following certifications from the Department of Early Education and Care:

School Age Group Leader
Amia is CPR/First Aid Certified, expires December 2026.

Miss Penny
Extraordinary Elms Before School Lead Teacher
Penny A. joined the Treehouse team in August 2024.
Penny is married to Bernie and has 3 children - Evan, Tanya and Nicole. She is blessed with 6 grandbabies, who are the joy of her life.
Penny enjoys camping, being outside in her gardens and coming up with fun experiments to do with her grandchildren. Penny's favorite late winter past time is making maple syrup from trees in her back yard.
Penny has been working with children for almost 28 years, From infants to 5th grade.
