Miss Penny
Extraordinary Elms Before School Lead Teacher
Penny A. joined the Treehouse team in August 2024.
Penny is married to Bernie and has 3 children - Evan, Tanya and Nicole. She is blessed with 6 grandbabies, who are the joy of her life.
Penny enjoys camping, being outside in her gardens and coming up with fun experiments to do with her grandchildren. Penny's favorite late winter past time is making maple syrup from trees in her back yard.
Penny has been working with children for almost 28 years, From infants to 5th grade.
and is currently certified from the Department of Early Education and Care as
School Age Group Leader

Penny is CPR/First Aid certified, expires January 2027.

Miss Tara
Extraordinary Elms Interim After School Teacher
(M-T-W-Th 2:45-4;30)
Mighty Oaks Teacher (M-T-W-Th 8am-2:45pm)
Tara B. originally joined the Treehouse Team from February - October 2022 before she left to teach abroad. Tara returned in June of 2025. She spent the summer with our Bonsais (School Age) before joining Mighty Oaks in the Fall of 2025.
Tara graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production.
Tara previously worked in childcare starting first as a volunteer camp counselor, then babysitting, and then worked at a center-based preschool program for about 3 years.
Tara holds the following Department of Early Education and Care certifications:
Infant/Toddler Teacher
Preschool Teacher
School Age Group Leader
Tara has a passion for working with children and being able to give love and support to her community. Tara is excited to return to the Treehouse Team and see what the future holds!
