Amy M. joined the Treehouse Team in May 2025.

Amy has always loved working with children, molding herself to whatever the child needs her to be. She started working with children when she was only 11 years old as an assistant CCD teacher.
Amy has worked as an RBT with autistic nonverbal children and as a paraprofessional for autistic children in Chicopee Public Schools. She is currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Certificate program in STCC and will be graduating in May 2025. Amy will be returning to STCC to receive her Associates in the Early Childhood Education Transfer program.
For her past time she loves to spend time with her nephews, do bible studies, cook for her family, and work on crafts for her small business.
Amy is CPR/First Aid certified, expires May 2027.
Miss Elaina
Assistant Teacher - Full Time

Elaina E. joined the Treehouse Team in March 2025. Elaina (who also goes by Laney) has over a decade of childcare experience with children of all ages. Her background includes working at summer day camps, sleep-away adventure programs, the Boys and Girls club, and as a private nanny for infants & toddlers.
After a few fulfilling months working in the preschool program, Laney was delighted to step into her current role in the Saplings classroom. She loves caring for the littlest members of our community and guiding them through their earliest milestones. She takes pride in creating a warm, playful environment where they can feel safe, loved, and curious.
Elaina shares her home with her husband Julian, three fluffy cats, and their big dog Blue. She has a deep love for animals and the natural world, and enjoys gardening, camping, and birdwatching in her free time. Her other hobbies include crocheting, doing puzzles, and playing ukulele. She also holds a degree in Visual Arts, which inspires her to bring creativity and imagination into the classroom.
Elaina believes that kindness and empathy should guide everything we do, especially when nurturing young minds.

Miss Allison H.
Teacher - Afternoons

Allison H.. joined the Treehouse Team in May 2025.
Allison has been passionate about working with children since her first job as a lifeguard at the Springfield JCC at age 16. She quickly found her calling in teaching and caregiving, giving both group and one-on-one swim lessons to children, including those with disabilities. This early experience helped shape her belief in the importance of inclusive, individualized approaches to learning.
Allison earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Assumption College in 2018. During her time there, she completed an internship with Thom Early Intervention in Worcester, where she supported services for children from birth to age three. Following graduation, she returned to the Springfield JCC as an inclusion camp counselor and later as an assistant teacher in an older toddler classroom at the JCC Early Learning Center from 2018 to 2020.
With a growing interest in speech and language development, Allison worked for Futures Health Core during the pandemic, providing speech and language teleservices to middle and high school students in Springfield. In August 2021, she joined Northampton Public Schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, delivering IEP-based services to preschoolers, elementary-aged children, and high school students with a variety of communication needs.
Allison joined Treehouse in May 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience in early childhood education and communication support.
Allison lives in East Longmeadow with her orange cat, Ahsoka.

Allison believes in the power of play-based, and interest-driven learning. She is deeply committed to inclusive education and enjoys adapting lessons to support all modes of communication and learning styles. She values consistent routines and compassionate, responsive guidance. For Allison, the magic of early childhood lies in watching children grow rapidly, develop their own personalities, and begin to form meaningful connections with others. She finds joy in nurturing their natural curiosity and love of learning.

Miin Maples Lead Teacher (full time)
McKenna Williams joined the Treehouse Team in September 2024 and moved in to the Lead Teacher role in Mini Maples in the Fall of 2025.
Miss McKenna began her journey working with children when she was just 13 years old and immediately felt at home. With her mom being in the childcare field for over 25 years she truly believes she has learned from the best in terms of working hand and hand with families to see their children succeed. While Treehouse is Miss Mckenna's first experience in a classroom setting, she is excited to bring her creativity and love for learning to Treehouse.
McKenna previously was a nanny, a counselor for Vacation bible school (VBS) at her church and volunteers with her family at the Glasgow Land Scottish Festival children’s games.
McKenna holds the following Department of Early Education and Care certifications:

Miss McKenna plans on getting her lead teacher certification to continue learning of the ever growing minds of your wonderful children.
Her hobbies include weekend trips to local towns and beaches and spending her nights with her cats while watching New Girl.

Miss Rachel
Mini Maples Teacher (full time)
Rachel Schmedding, aka Rae- Rae joined tree house FSLC in May of 2024. Rachel and her husband Rob are blessed with their 2 year old son Ryan.
Rachel graduated in 2017 with an Associates in Disability Support with a focus on Speech and Language. She has worked with many children and adults with varying abilities in the classroom as well as through adaptive aquatics.
Rachel currently holds a Department of Early Education and Care Teacher Certificate in:
Infant/Toddler Teacher
Rachel has worked at a few child care facilities over her 15 years of child care ranging in age and developmental stages.
Rachel embraces children of all ages and abilities meeting the children where they are in development and building upon them by using their strengths to create a strong foundation for learning .

Co-Lead Teacher: Mini Oaks
Full Time
Megan Zabik, aka Miss Meg joined in the Treehouse Team in November 2022. Meg has been working in child care since 2014. Over the years she has spent time working in a Family Childcare program, infant classroom, toddler classrooms as well as preschool in the area. She has helped with children of all ages and abilities and has loved every second of it!

Meg holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, with credits in Early Childhood Education and will be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a goal of one day pursuing a career in Child Life. Meg is CPR/First Aid Certified, expires March 2024.

Brianna Moyers (Bri!) joined Treehouse in May of 2025. Brianna is from East Longmeadow and has been working with infants and toddlers for over seven years. Brianna has spent 2 of those years specifically in an infant/toddler classroom. In Bri's own words " It's truly where my heart feels most at home. I have. true passion for teaching little ones. It's such a joy to watch their eyes light up ad see the gears turning as they discover and learn new skills!"

One of Brianna's favorite parts about working with children is building strong loving connections. She believes that creating a safe, nurturing environment helps them thrive and it is equally rewording for her, too. Whether exploring through play, singing songs, or reading words of affirmation - Brianna loves helping their little minds grow.
Brianna believes that every child is uniqur and she is always excited to find creative ways to connect, teach, and inspire. She feels so lucky to be a part of theit early learning journey.

Miss Brittany
Lead Teacher - Pinecones
Brittany joined the Treehouse team in June 2023. Brittany’s passion for caring for children started early. She began with babysitting, and then went on to provide quality child care as a trusted nanny for over ten years. Brittany first gained teaching experience at a Montessori based Early Childhood Center, and then moved to Connecticut where she continued her teaching journey. She enjoyed learning and growing as an educator, working directly in the Preschool, and Infant/Toddler classrooms. Brittany is a valued educator at Treehouse.The children enjoy her bubbly personality, as well as her willingness to engage alongside their play! Brittany uses this as a fun opportunity for building connections, as well as to understand more about the children’s individual needs and interests. She believes building meaningful connections is the first step in fostering a natural love for learning, for both educators and students alike!
Brittany has completed Early Childhood Education coursework including- Health, Safety, and Nutrition for the Young Child/ Child, Family and Community/ Child Growth and Development/ and Working with Preschoolers. In 2024 she added: Infant Toddler Teaching Techniques. She is currently working towards her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well a course on Child Protection: Children's Rights in Theory and Practice, provided by Harvard University.

Brittany’s long term goal is to have a family childcare of her own someday. She considers it an honor to be involved in children’s lives during such a special time, and feels very aligned with Treehouse’s mission and core values. When she’s not in the classroom or working on her education, she enjoys doing all sorts of creative activities. She spends a lot of time in nature, and often brings her cat Niko along for outdoor adventures. She hopes to incorporate her love for animals, nature, art, and children into her future family childcare plans!
