MENTORSHIP APPROACH
Students in the TREAT Lab will learn a variety of research skills related to treatment effectiveness research. Dr. Pfund views all trainees as junior colleagues with valuable knowledge, skills, and experiences who can make meaningful contributions to the Lab. Dr. Pfund's mentorship is tailored to each student's specific needs, context, and preferences. For all students, he aims to create a safe space to become curious and think critically about clinical psychology and addiction while providing them with the necessary scaffolding to become the best clinical psychologists they can be. Dr. Pfund is committed to excellence in both clinical practice and research, and he is enthusiastic about collaborating with students on research projects that align with the TREAT Lab's mission.
