PaveLab – LanammeUCR

In operation since July 2013, the LanammeUCR PaveLab is a accelerated pavement testing (APT) program, equipped with a Heavy Vehicle Simulator (HVS), Mark VI model and and facilities with the ability to monitor and simulate the water table of multiple pavement structures.

The program is an important effort in the development of accelerated tests of pavements in the Latin American region. Pursuing a development of knowledge in pavement engineering as a key to development of the country.

Using the Heavy Vehicle Simulator (HVS), Mark VI model, the LanammeUCR completes its range of tests, from nano-scale to full scale. Thus all components of materials involved in building infrastructure (especially road infrastructure) are analyzed.
