This area was breathtaking. Walking throughout the museum set the stage for what we were about to see. The once battlefield was now turned into a beautiful grave yard filled with the men and women who lost their lives fighting for our country. Normandy which was once filled with war was now a peaceful beach front. The reminders of war can still be found around the area though! There were several canons we visited as well as fake equipment that was placed off shore. Seeing the remnants of war was a great reminder of how quickly things can change.
