This picture was taken in one of the last moments I was at the school in France! This picture makes me reminisce on the business of the students and the time they were able to spend with one another between classes! I found it so interesting to see schools investing in students' ability to build relationships with others. Schools in America often focus most on academics and put social-emotional learning only here or there. The shift in school dynamics was something I hope to encourage my future school of employment to do. Children really need relationships with people their age in order to grow in every aspect of their lives. They thrive on community and this school really allowed them to build these connections that will help them throughout their life!
