There are five chhatris in the ticketed part of the chhatri complex. Of these four are very similar, the exception being that of Sawant Singh. When I was here (Sep 2022) it was possible to up to the upper levels only at the chhatri of Sawant Singh, all the others were locked. I was lucky to meet a employee who took me to the upper levels of the chhatri of Bhagwant Singh.

From the entrance, third chhatri to your left. This is the chhatri I like the best among the five chhatris here. You can climb up to the upper level for superb views of the surrounding chhatris.

According to Building Traditions In Bundelkhand there were paintings on the dome. Pic below is from 2011.
These paintings seem to have disappeared.
